*Her Nose-Pin*
Maybe it sparkled before my eyes for nothing, or maybe it wanted to create a barrier between the door to her mind and my presence-
Yes, her nose-pin.
It was screaming his name out loud in hazy terms, a language she had made me forget a thousand days ago...
That nose pin of his last name had pierced through her cells; the cells, my name could have never reached.
But I was okay....almost.
Okay,
Nowhere but in the places- mostly visible.
So,
She stood there in front of me and spent no longer than it would take to take 3 long breaths.
I smiled and said 2 or 3 words, she smiled back, so did her nose-pin and then she left.
However, the sparkling image of that tiny pin kept pricking me in a place protected within a strong cage.
I murmured behind her footsteps...." You're not wearing a nose pin, you're wearing him. He's your new soulmate. Don't know if your cells accept him as you do"
(Someone's nose-pin inspired me to write this piece from a man's perspective. In our culture a nose-pin symbolizes marriage)
